Home Yoga Practice - Just Do it
It’s time to take a flying leap mixed with a little faith and jump right in and start your home yoga practice. For some of you I can feel your excitement and you are ready to take that leap of faith. For others, you are stuck in your head with all things resistance and hesitation even though you want it. Stop overthinking it and just do it!
Look, I’ve been where you are. Exhausted, totally out of shape, and feeling the beginning stages of age setting in. Total discouragement with no energy. Everything opposite of feeling empowered. Right?! I can guarantee you that once you step on the mat, it will all begin to unwind and you will find yourself again. Some days you will feel stronger than others. It’s all good because ...
... the mat accepts you every darn time and meets you where you are in each moment.
I have had yoga sessions with hardly any movement that consisted of seated meditation and/or corpse pose (lying flat on your back). But it’s all good because ...
... yoga is about meeting yourself where you are, breathing, letting go, and finding peace.
So, some days there’s just not much to give. Other days you’re full of energy flying high trying all kinds of crazy poses like headstands and pincha poses and more.
Let me end by saying this, if you want something different you must to do something different. I know that you would rather not remain depressed, discouraged, unhealthy, or disempowered. That little small voice deep inside of you, Your Essence, knows that there is so much more to life than what you are living. She is craving for you to take this leap of faith and do this something different that will put you back on the journey of empowerment!
Just do it! I know that you CAN do it! I believe in you! I am here for you!! I love you!
